Our Policies

The commitments that govern how Hritan Foundation raises funds, delivers programmes and treats the people and animals in its care.

Transparency & Accountability

All donations received are recorded and applied to the programme or cause for which they were given. Programme spending and outcomes are summarised in our annual impact reports.

Child Protection

Every volunteer, teacher and staff member working with children in our Gurukul programme is screened, briefed on safeguarding and bound by a code of conduct.

Donation & Refund Policy

Donations are voluntary and are generally non-refundable. Where a transaction is made in error, please write to us within 7 days and we will review the request.

Privacy & Data Protection

Personal information shared with us is used only to acknowledge donations, process volunteer applications and send updates. We do not sell or rent supporter data.

Volunteer Code of Conduct

Volunteers are expected to act with respect, honesty and non-discrimination, to protect the dignity of every beneficiary and to maintain confidentiality.

Animal Welfare (Gaushala)

Cows in our care receive daily feed, clean shelter, veterinary attention and humane treatment. No animal in our care is sold for slaughter.

Anti-Discrimination

Services are provided without regard to caste, religion, gender, language or economic status. Need is the only criterion.
